What emergency preparedness groups offer assistance after hurricanes?

I need help for this!!
It’s in the U.S. of A.

All church groups help, especially the Salvation Army. The Red Cross and in the US it would be FEMA and in Canada I think the Emergency Measures Organizations. Fire departments, rescue crews, ambulances, hospitals, power and other utility companies all have a role to play. Many volunteer organizations come forward to help. Often businesses and corporations have trained emergency response personnel. I hope this helps.
