I want to know if she can still get pregnant about a week after taking it.
It use to be 72 hours, however that has been changed. It’s now effect up to 120 hours after sex, which is 5 days.
That said, if she took plan b a week ago, then had unprotected sex again, she needs to seek out plan b once again. Although, you also need to use a reliable form of birth control, be it hormonal birth control or properly using condoms. Taking Plan B isn’t birth control, it’s for emergency only. It’s not even that close to 100%, birth control or condoms are much more reliable, plus taking large doses of hormones like this so often isn’t good for her system, hormones, or cycle.

The plan B pill is designed to terminate a pregnancy AFTER you have sex (I believe it has to be taken within 72 hours). It’s not designed to be birth control.

i agree it is to terminate a pregnancy, not prevent it. to keep your girlfriend from getting pregnant, either don’t have sex, or use some form of birth control

Actually planned B is designed to prevent conception. It prevents the sperm and the egg getting together to form the baby. If she has sex again after taking it then yes she can still get pregnant. Plan B is to prevent pregnancy from unprotected sex taken after the unprotected sex. She needs to get some condoms and go on the pill. Plan B is for mistakes and is not meant to be a ongoing form of birth control.

if your asking what i think then yes it is possable for her to be pregnant, however it is unlikely, i suggest getting some condoms, you can get them free at planned parenthood, then you don’t have to worry about this happening
