Dear Collegues,
I am establishing a new company based in the Philippines with BCM/Crisis Management and DR as one of its core services including other services such as fire engineering, Insurance Risk Assessments and seminars/trainings. We are the first company offering such services in a country where the popularity of BCM and risk management is still on its infancy level.
I view of the above, selling the bcm and rm are the first obstacles.
Can anybody share some marketing strategies?

Since you are the first company in the country to provide such a service, organize a seminar and call IT heads of companies.
- Identify some recent calamity in the region and inform them about the losses (with figures) and scare them.
- Get some cases where a DR / BCM helped in making sure business was not disrupted (in developed countries)
- Explain cost savings for the customer by using some believable figures.
- Explain that the costs are minuscule compared to the potential losses.
Also give splashy pamphlets with figures.
Send out emails with your offering.
If your company is well known, it makes easier by giving a background of your company as well.
