I am looking for the services such as writing an emergency plan for several facilities, as well as other consulting. Any one have any experience with this or rates I can expect?
IIRC, a friend who is a security consultant charges start at $5,000 per location depending on size, # personnel, etc, to do an evaluation and emergency plan. For a mall, it runs about $100,000. He is a recognized expert, has done work for some major players in NY Metro real estate.

I know those with protein C deficiency aren’t supposed to take oral contraceptives (birth control) because of the risk of clots. But what about plan B?
You could have the same issue. Plan B is one time, and should be used sparingly due to other complications, but that also means that you wouldn’t be using it over a length of time like with the birth control pill. For things like this, you should always consult your doctor, or at least let them know what you are planning. That means if you find you need to take Plan B, inform your doctor. That way if complications do develop, they have a record they can look at, rather than trying to figure it out without a proper pharmeceutical history.

Emergencies and disasters happen every day and many people are not ready to respond. Feeling Safe, Being Safe tools show how to make your plan, connect with your community members and create a home emergency kit.
Members of the Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC) for Californias Department of Developmental Services, in partnership with the Board Resource Center (BRC), implemented a three year project called Leadership Through Personal Change to assist Californians with developmental disabilities to live by the motto: My Life, My Way! In the course of their work, they established and practiced a straightforward decision-making process called Think-Plan-Do to demonstrate how to create a goal, make plans, and take action to succeed.
In the aftermath of natural disasters in the United States and around the world and the serious consequences felt by many, the CAC turned attention to creating ways to help all people be confident in their ability to carry out individualized plans to be better prepared. Using the Think-Plan-Do methodology, the CAC insisted emergency preparedness instructions and tools be user friendly, if they are to be effective. With CAC guidance, BRC developed and field-tested a DVD (close-captioned), Worksheet, Magnet and teaching curriculum – the package of Feeling Safe, Being Safe instructional materials. Since its launch by the CAC, Feeling Safe, Being Safe has been presented at national and international conferences and is currently being adopted or adapted for use in other states.
The CAC has sponsored and co-produced additional leadership videos viewable on YouTube found by using search word: cac leadership or boardresourcecente.
